“I can't say enough about the Easy’s Slipper. Butterfly is a 15 year old Dutch Warmblood/Thoroughbred cross. She has an old ligament/tendon issue and sesamoiditis that got steadily worse over last winter. She has been on tendon/ligament supplement, joint supplement, with bute or previcox for pain management, as well as cold hosing, standing wraps and various liniments. Since late May of 2015, she has been on stall rest with hand grazing only. X-rays and ultra sounds have been done more than once. She does have some scar tissue present. My vet did recommend surgery, which was not an option for me. My vet did not give us much hope, stating that Butterfly was as good as she would ever get – a truly a crippled horse, and one that could barely walk. She could not stand on the left foreleg for shoeing.
After talking with my farrier Dave Giza, we decided to try Easy’s Slipper. Within 24 hours of having Easy’s Slipper on only the injured leg, she was able to stand on it again. Her gait dramatically improved with little head bobbing. Her turns and rein back were drastically improved. This was a horse that could not do either the previous day. She has had good results in the last few weeks, with a couple of little setbacks because of feeling so well and over exerting herself. We have been amazed at her progress. I just want to say thank you to Dave and Easy’s Slipper. You have saved her life.”
